Just popping in to say that we’re headed out on the Kerry Way — a 133 mile walk around the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry — tomorrow. We’ll be walking sans laptops so you won’t hear from us for another 12 days or so. Or more if it goes badly. Or less, I suppose, if it goes very, very badly.

Speaking of things going badly, after dry and unseasonably hot weather here in Ireland since we arrived two weeks ago, it rained today and looks to rain more tomorrow. Apparently there’s an inch of rain expected Monday! All just in time for 12 days/133 miles of hiking. And did I mention, wild camping?

OH TERRIFIC.

But we have our raincoats at the ready and just about every flavor of Cadbury bar in our packs … so … what’s the worst that can happen?
