The final segment took us along the south side of the peninsula, through Sneem (gesundheit), across the Blackwater Bridge, through Kenmare and then back through Killarney National Park to Killarney Town.

Standard lunch
That’s a big frickin’ grub! My thumb for scale (banana not available). iNaturalist reports that this is a Goat Moth.
This is an art installation behind our class accommodation in Sneem (see Wild Camping in Ireland… for the glamour shot, complete with laundry and mower).
Irish Bliss (well, the best I can do, anyway)
Joe checking out the nightlife in Kenmare
I don’t care how much Em hates these shots. Behold, Irish weeds, backlit in a soul warming way so you can imagine laying in the grass with the sun on your face.
I do not understand how there are so many abandoned buildings. Emigration, yeah, but they are everywhere.
This is the lastest, saddest lunch of pulverized crackers and a smashed rind of that world renowned cheese - Irish brie.
The last 1 km into Killarney
Right back where we started from.
The boys walked 135 miles in 11 days with full camping kit. Obligatory self-five
